Chef Akanksha’s journey began with a simple idea - to create pet food that is as delicious as it is nutritious. Today, we are proud to offer a variety of products that cater to the specific dietary needs of pets. Our products are made with fresh meat and are free from by-products and artificial additives. Journey
Chef Akanksha combined her undying love for dogs and her professional training in the culinary arts to create Barker’s Dozen in 2017. She has graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and has a pet food nutritionist certification from Kansas University. Barker’s dozen began as an alternative to filler-filled treats and food.
Team
We are an all-women team that has a passion to ensure that everything going out of out kitchen adhere to the highest standards of health, nutrition and taste. While Barker’s dozen was started at home, our customers enduring loyalty and support have made us think bigger. While we’ve moved to a larger kitchen, our pet products are still made with all the care and love that got us here!
